Mac Haul - September 20th

Hey guys,

So I was lucky enough to get an invitation to an exclusive Mac collection release for their Styledriven, Posh Paradise, and Fall Colour collections. I picked up a few things and thought I would share! Enjoy!

First from the Styledriven collection I picked up one of the Pro Longwear eye shadows in the shade Fresh Flare. It's a gorgeous green colour and I can't wait to use it!

Next from Posh Paradise I picked up one Paint Pot and it is in the shade Genuine Treasure. At first glance this is not something that I would have been drawn to, but once I swatched it I fell in love! It is a beautiful glittery, shimmery taupe colour. I have already used this and I am so glad I bought it.
The last few items are all from the Fall Colour collection. I picked up one of the eye shadows in the colour Three Ring Yellow. It is a beautiful shimmering golden yellow. I can't wait to use it.

I also picked up one of the Chromagraphic Pencils in the colour High Def Cyan. It is an awesome bright sky blue colour. It is so pigmented and smooth. I love it!
And lastly, I couldn't resist this Mineralize Skinfinish in the shade Lightscapade. It is just the most perfect highlight colour. I have already used this and I think this is something I will reach for every time I do my makeup.

I hope you enjoyed this little haul.

birthday makeup haul!

Hey guys,
So back in August it was my birthday and Iwas lucky enough to get a couple gift cards to Sephora and MAC and so I went shopping! Who doesn't love a little shopping?! I have also been able to try out most of these items so I can let you know what I think of them. Here is what I got.

First from sephora I got my first ever NARS product and it is there blush in the shade Mata Hari. I have been using this blush quite a bit since I got it and I love it. It is so smooth and so pigmented, a little goes a really long way.

The other item I got from sephora was this mini set from benefit. The set includes minis of "that gal", "the pore fessional" and "stay don't stray" primers. These are all great!

From MAC I got two fluid lines, one in Macroviolet and one in Dark Envy. These are both gorgeous colors and I love them both.
The next thing I got from MAC was Minted eye kohl. I was so excited to get this. Every time I went into MAC looking to get this eye liner they were always sold out. I have used this a few times since getting it and I love it. It looks great on the waterline!

And lastly from MAC I got some new eyeshadows. I picked up Sumptuous Olive, Steamy, Juxt, Cranberry, and Bronze. I love all these colors especially Juxt! They are all gorgeous! (The top row of swatches are on bare skin and the bottom row is swatched on top of Painterly paint pot from MAC)

I hope you liked that haul if you want more information on any of these things just let me know!

March Favorites!

Hey guys

So march is now over and I thought I would just share with you some of my favorite products from this past month. Let's just get started!

First is Hard Candy's Fox in a Box blush in the shade 'Skinny Dipping'

This blush is a combination of two shades: a bronze-y shade and a orange-y/coral shade. You can use the shades alone or swirl them together. I like to swirl them together and it leaves a nice subtle glow.

Next is a new foundtion from Rimmel. It is the clean finish foundation, and my shade is '340 Nude'.
I like this foundation because it is light and smooth and just glides on and blends in really well. I would say it is a medium coverage foundation.

Next is another face product. It is the MAC Studio Careblend pressed powder. I have it in the shade "Medium Plus.
This powder is so light and smooth it feels great when it is on the skin. It doesn't look cakey, it just leaves a nice finish to the skin. I love using this to set my foundation.

The next thing on my list is a beauty tool. It is the E.L.F. eyelash curler.
I don't really have much to say about this one. This is a great lash curler and the best part about it is that it is only $1!

Next is another MAC product. It is their Select Cover Up concealer. My shade is NC30.
I love this concealer. It is smooth and creamy and just glides on. It doesn't get cakey and it covers almost everything. I use it under my eyes, on blemishes and on my cheeks to even out my skin tone and take away some of the redness.

Next on the list is a mascara from Maybelline. It is the Falsies Volum' Express mascara in 'Blackest Black'.

This mascara does wonders for my lashes. It volumizes, it thickens, it lengthens. Love, love, love this mascara!

Next is another Hard Candy product. It is the Show Girl's Secret glitter glue.
This stuff is great for turning loose cosmetic glitter into glitter liner! It stays put all day, this stuff is great!

Next is another product from MAC. It is their Eye Khol in 'Smolder'.
This is the blackest black pencil liner I have ever tried. It lasts almost all day, I don't have to worry about touching it up throughout the day.

And lastly is one more MAC product. This was one of the first MAC products I ever bought and I come back to it time and time again. It is the Mineralize Skinfinish in 'Soft and Gentle'.
I reach for this every time I do my makeup. I just sweep it on the tops of my cheekbones and it leaves the prettiest highlight!

Well that is all this month. Thank you all for checking out my blog and I will speak to you all soon!

:)
